I loved class because I met more people and had great conversations about my project and with CS majors about their ideas for their final projects. Furthermore, talking to the people in my group was extremely interesting because Jayden mentioned that his project looks at movies, specifically how many foreign countries get Westernized films compared to which countries get their movies through piracy. The most valuable feedback I received was that I shouldn’t widen my lens. Everyone in my group approved of the time period, but they did offer constructive criticism when it comes to representation. They told me I should primarily focus on two things for whatever player I choose: accolades and media coverage.
